MINUTES:       Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as a true record.

MATTERS ARISING:
1) Malcolm has looked into the first aid course for members and suggested either the 3rd April or end of April
 /beginning of May as potential dates.  The group suggested the latter and Malcolm will try to get exact dates.
 The course will cost approximately £36.  Thus far, Doug, Asif, Tim and Malcolm expressed an interest in doing the
  course.  Doug will put a flyer in the Test Centre to see if anyone else would be interested.
2) Tim mentioned that the link from the Social Club website to his website was not working.
   Malcolm said he will look into this.  

CHAIRMANS REPORT:

2) Doug mentioned an article in the MSA magazine ‘Newslink’ regarding an instructor charging extra money for
    sitting in a test.  The group had a discussion if this was fair or justified, but of course it rests with the instructor.  
3) David advised members that the DSA will imminently be changing the website address for booking theory
   and practical tests.  Only the correct links should be used.  David also advised there are a number of
    fraudulent websites appearing (who charge for their service).  Only use only the official websites:

TREASURERS REPORT:
Fran updated members with the latest cash-flow report.  

SECRETARYS REPORT:  
1) Asif mentioned that Sue (examiner Peterborough MPTC) suggested that we should have a get together and
   Invite Vic or Steve from the Test Centre to come and talk to us and answer any questions we may have about
  the ‘trainer accompanying the candidate on test’.  Doug said he will take this forward.  Doug stated that he will
   put up a flyer in the test centre to see if any other ADI’s would like to attend this meeting.  
  (UPDATE: Doug has received a response from Vic who stated that they are not permitted to do any public
   speaking until after the general election.  This was confirmed by Trevor Wedge, Chief Driving Examiner DSA at the recent MSA
     meeting.)  
2) Asif has updated the notice board at the test centre.

SOCIAL EVENTS:  
   None.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS:  
1) Malcolm said to let him know of any articles from Newslink / ADI News or any other  relevant trade
magazines that you would like to have posted on the website.  (Preferably scanned and emailed to him.)
2) Malcolm said if anyone has any ideas for the website, please let him know.
3) Asif suggested that due to the lack of numbers attending our meetings, maybe a
     text a few days before the meeting might prompt and remind members.  
     This was agreed and Asif to take this forward.
