Minutes: Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted as a true record.

Election of Officers: Chair:- Doug Andrews re-elected
                                           Secretary: Louise Bowes was voted in as Secretary
                                            Treasurer: Lorraine King voted in as Treasurer.

Chairman’s report: Doug thanked Fran Harris for all her years of service to PDISC and proposed Fran was made an honouree life member, this was agreed.
Doug welcomed new members to the meeting and explained the history of the association and membership types and benefits. Doug also informed members that parts of the meetings would count towards CPD.
Doug said he was happy to remain the Chairman for another year but encouraged all members to get involved to keep PDISC running.
Doug reported that he had been contacted by someone about grants available for fleet training, he is waiting to hear back about them coming to talk at a meeting in the future.
M.S.A  A.G.M is being held on 24th March at The Crown Plaza Hotel in Nottingham.
D.S.A  A.G.M is being held on 26th March at Manchester Police Training Centre, for every 5 members wishing to go then a 6th person can go for free. Please contact Doug for details if interested.
Doug thanked Lorraine and Louise for taking on the roles of Treasurer and Secretary.

Secretary’s Report: As we have been without a secretary there is no report.

Treasurer’s Report: fran gave her report which was accepted.

Any other business: Amanda Fee talked about a sickness benefit plan that she had successfully set up in Bedford, it is called The Dave Lawrence sickness scheme and is free to join. Members seemed very interested and Amanda was asked to bring details to be discussed at the next  meeting. It was thought this may also encourage more new members to PDISC.
Louise asked if members would like to meet up informally for a social gathering in between meetings, most members thought this was a good idea, Louise will look into suitable venue and e mail members the details,

Kevina told members about a fire fighters lady driver challenge that is taking place, she will e mail Louise the details and these will be put in the next minutes.
Louise will text members a reminder about the next meeting the day before.
